A Good Death - A DIY workshop exploring end of life choices.
Dying is something that we all do and often have to support people we love to do. Modern western culture is a fairly death averse one and although tangata whenua have tikanga around death that is generous and clear many pakeha New Zealanders struggle with the idea of death and talking about death with people they love. We are running a workshop to offer a chance to talk about death and choices at the end of life. We are me, Jane Cunningham, with my Gentle Conversations hat on. Becky Aud-Jennison from The Death Dialogues Project. And Jo Samuel from A Graceful Undertaking Together we will create a day to explore having conversations about death with family, learn about lived experience of death and seeing what is possible with end of life care in Whangarei. |
