Welcome to the Young Person's Mystery School
what kind of mark do you want to make in the world?
The Young Person's Mystery School is a gathering of threads of the deeper insights into living a soulful life as a woman that our surface culture often misses.
In days gone by we would have sat around the fire with elders and talked about these things. In creating the Young Person's Mystery School I lean into that sense of gathering and sharing, providing an initiate based pathway for young women to explore and open possibilities around topics we seldom discuss in everyday life.
The years between 15 and 18 are formative in embedding the strengthening wisdom required to be a human of depth and courage and The Young Person's Mystery School is designed to build and strengthen these qualities in the participants.
This is sacred work. I take my responsibility in transmitting it seriously and ask that participants receive it in the same manner. Our young people are taonga, a gift into the future. I believe the power to work deep transformation in the world is crucial to our young people's well-being and this power is innate to young people of this generation.
All participants or initiates will be required to sign an agreement based on confidentiality and code of conduct requirements. Initiates will be required to submit an application to signal their readiness for this work and so I can ensure they are a good fit for the work.

How Young Person's Mystery School works.

This is the Second round of The Young Person's Mystery School. Initiates from the last course will support the new initiates and me in their learning, which i believe both enhances the experience of the "newbies" but speaks to the engagement in the learning the first students received.
The Young Person's Mystery School will be held on a weekly basis, at the my studio at 8 Graham Street in Kensington, a short walk from Girls' and Boy's High.
Attendance at all classes is important (only those who attend all classes will graduate) and the classes are offered on a "whole package" basis only. The cost of the course is $350 per person. Earlybird payment of $320 if paid before the 7th of June. Payment plans are available.
Topics covered: Sovereignty, Boundaries, Typology, Intuition Ritual, Adornment, Self care.
The dates: . Each Wednesday from 13 June - 14 August (school holidays off.)
Venue My Studio, 8 Graham Street, Kensington.
The time: 3:45-5:45 pm
We will work within the framework of circle process, beginning and ending our gathering with sharing in circle. There will be discussion and sharing in order to explore the topics fully. Each topic will require a creative response from the Initiate and there may be some homework to prepare for sessions. The last session is a graduation and we welcome each Initiate to bring a family member to tautoko them. Some sessions will be co-lead by a local expert in the field discussed. Each session will be focused on a different facet of these aspects of soul strengthening women's work and the initiates will be given links to further learning on the topic.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have - email me here or call me on 0210302572.

Who are you to do this? |
I am a 53 year old woman who is becoming more and more convinced that when we build strong young people we change the world. There are many mysteries life has presented to me and these are some of the most important learnings i have gathered to support me on my way. I am currently teaching creative process with women both in person and online and come from a background of Nursing and Staff education. I am from Te Tai Tokerau and have two daughters that I would love to build a community of strong and questioning people with.
