imagine what the ancestors might say

Today i worked in my art journal, spiraling into "What the ancestors might say"

i thought you might be heartened, as i was, from what i found.

"Talking back through time the Ancestors teach us through their stories and the whispers in our cells.

Are our longings their longings?
Do they wish through time that we stop  and gaze a little longer at the buoyant green of the new spring-leaved oak or do they exhort us to live live live, knowing from their vantage pint how precious and how fleeting it all is?

If my ancestors could talk to me face to face today what would they say?  How would they hold my attention?

Holding my face in their hands i believe each one of them would come and whisper their version of "More"  "Deeper"  "Courage my darling, take courage."

None would exhort me to hold back, be smaller, live less, hold back or shy away from life.

What would your ancestors say to you?

I thought about art journals,
and I thought about my ancestors, and I will think some more about what they would say, and what they might mean...
