offering a place at the banquet

Hali Karla has created an amazing banquet for visual journaling and soul filling goodness.

"SPECTRUM" is the name of the gathering and it is a 10 month extravaganza where different artists, healers and visionaries share goodness from their heart each month and a community gathers to share their thoughts and growth. It will be amazing.

I am honoured to be one of the people offering a part of their heart and the work in the photograph is a sneak peek at what we will be creating together. The theme for the month that I have chosen is NOURISH. I can't wait to show you what I have laid on the table. I am really proud to be able to be the conduit for this. My part of the offering is called Nourish - feeding the Divine Self.

Did I mention I am excited? Ha!

And the generous Hali has given each teacher a free place on the course for one lucky person. Please leave me a note below describing what you think Spectrum would do for your heart and I will draw a winner randomly.

Jane, the word I've chosen for the year is "love" and it's all about how I love the myself first and then how I love the world. I'm excited to continue this journey of love and a course like this would really support that process. I love that you are doing something that is so nourishing, not just for you but for those around you as well. Thank you for sharing a piece of yourself with us.

I have become active in women's groups like Gather the Women. I have never been artistic, I have written one winning essay for Words of Women. I have a deep craving to create "Great Mother" artwork, especially small statues.

Being here at all is a sheer act of artistry, throwing your hat in the ring is an act of artistry - and listening to the way the Great Mother wants to be born through your hands is yet another act. This year, I'm looking to do two things: to get deep with my creativity and get deep with the living part of being alive. One place I constantly fall down in that pursuit is in remembering that my body's a part of the creative process, and this looks like the perfect melding of creativity, spirit, and the physical that I need. (I've had the class page open in my browser for weeks now, in fact....) :)

Connecting my body with art and nature...hmmm...I wonder if the Universe is trying to get my attention??
